Actually you don’t need to do this with an Extension, there’s actually no programming required at all :-)
Just have a look at the “Admin Options” on the “Plugin Options” screen, where you will find an option for that. Just select the new menu from the dropdown box there.

Thanks a lot for this, you have done an excellent work, Tobias.

I’m try to move the menu out of the “Tools” section by using something like this, but with no luck.
Any help to do this is much appreciated.
